How we work

From first call to first day, taken seriously.

A clear three-step process. No drawn-out kick-offs, no dropped balls.

1

The brief, properly

A 30-45 minute briefing call. We capture the role, the team, the must-haves, the deal-breakers, the salary band and the timeline. You get a written brief back to confirm.

2

Targeted shortlist

We approach our network and active candidates, vet, interview and rank. You receive a tight, qualified shortlist with our notes, salary expectations and availability.

3

Offer support and onboarding

We handle counter-offer pressure, notice-period coordination and start-date logistics, then check in on day 7, 30 and 90.

Common questions

Questions employers ask before working with us.

How quickly can you deliver a shortlist?
Most permanent briefs receive their first shortlist within 5-7 working days. Senior or specialist briefs may take a fortnight, but we will tell you upfront. We never sit on a brief.
What parts of the UK do you cover?
All four nations. We have active candidate and client networks across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and run nationwide and remote-first searches as standard.
Are your fees percentage-based?
For permanent placements, yes, we work on a percentage of first-year base salary. The exact rate depends on level and sector, agreed in writing before any candidate is introduced.
What does the replacement guarantee cover?
If a placed hire leaves or is dismissed within the agreed period, we will source a free replacement. The window is usually 8-12 weeks for most roles, longer for senior hires.
Can you support confidential searches?
Yes. For replacement-of-incumbent or sensitive pre-launch hires, we run blind shortlists, withhold client identity until shortlist stage, and use generic JDs in initial approaches. Tell us up front if confidentiality matters.
What information do you need to start a search?
A job description (or rough notes), salary band, start-date target, and one decision-maker we can speak to. We can build the rest of the brief on a 30-45 minute call.

Ready to take a brief off your desk?

Tell us the role, the urgency and the must-haves. We will be back within one working day with a clear plan and a fee quote.
